  • Youth Activity Centre (Community and Well Being)

  • An Established Dance Wear Provider (Local Business)

  • Library/Resource Centre (Charity)

  • Classroom (Education)

  • Office let (Local Business)

  • Second Hand School Uniform Shop (Charity)

  • A lift for improved access to first floor

Car Park

A vital component of 24 Swan Street is the Car Park. The PAYC will be playing its part in protecting the Conservation Area and supporting a high quality living experience by managing the community car park. There will be resident permits available for those households most in need of the parking facility, and a reasonable charge for patrons of the businesses to help maintain the facility. The PAYC will apply for a grant to install electric car charging points for community use, a much needed amenity in a good central village location.

Outside

The Gallery Music Studio

A new external recording studio for mixing live music, podcasting, demos and much more. A place to develop future musical talent in Kingsclere.

The Classroom

Young People in the village will benefit from access to the quiet study space that the “The Classroom” will provide. If you need a quiet space with great WIFI outside of the home for GCSE or A-Level revision, or just for catching up on your homework, this could be the place for you.

Sustainable

Solar Roof Panels

With a large roof area at 24 Swan Street, it just makes sense to work towards reducing the carbon footprint where possible. Funding will be sought to ascertain the viability of installing solar roof panels on the Grade II listed roof.

24 Swan Street has the potential to become the beating heart of the community for the young people of Kingsclere
